Granny and G-daddy decided that these little chicks needed to take a trip and meet Anna and Emily! They picked them up in
Crestview and headed 3 1/2 hours north!
Yep, on the kitchen table!! This is the first time I have ever had uncooked chicken on the kitchen table or for that matter in the house. With the dog going wild on the floor we decided it just wasn't safe down there for them. We couldn't take them outside to the grass because Jason just put insecticide on the grass. I promise that I bleached the table as soon as the chicks left!
Anna came home from school and was thrilled to see we had company!
She is worried that these babies won't remember her when we go to visit them at the grandparents.
I think she would make a pretty good little farm girl!

The chicks will probably remember the girls, but they may not be quite so cute when you guys go to visit:) What fun!!
