Our newest Addition to the family!!!

Miss Ava Claire Wilson
Ava came into this world on Monday, November 9th at 9:39 a.m.
She weighted 9 lbs and was 20 inches in length. She looks so tiny in comparison to Anna and Emily at this age!

The girls with their cousin Tristen. They had a good time making balloons out of gloves. Got to love entertaining them in a hospital!

Granny Wilson holding Ava for the 1st time!

The Espy Family meeting Ava.

My cousin Lee, and Sissy, aka Aunt Darlene loving on Ava. This makes me feel old because I have pictures of me holding Lee at this age!

Our little Angel!

The "big sisters" holding their special package from heaven!

Ava learning to focus her eyes!
Sweet as can be!!

Wow, what an eventful week we have had here in the Wilson house! Early Monday morning is when the fun all began. I woke up at about 1:30 a.m. and was having contractions and before 5 a.m. they were 6 minutes apart! Since we already had her c-section planned and scheduled I was stuck on keeping it that way. We arrived at the hospital a little after 6 a.m. and and my contractions were only 4 minutes apart! This was something totally new to me because I had never before experienced contractions. At this point I was worried and hoping that I had not put her into any unnecessary stress. My c-section was delayed because an emergency section came in for the doctor just before I was suppose to go back. Ava was born at 9:39 a.m. on Monday morning. She is healthy sweet baby girl and is starting to have a huge appetite! It seems all I do is nurse and change diapers! I am starting to feel much better and am counting my blessings each day! Ava has a heart murmur and the doctors are not too worried about it. The echo shows that two small valves in the heart that are supposed to close haven't completely closed yet. We will do a follow up echo in 2 weeks to check on the progress of that. Thank you to everyone for your many prayers for the health and safety of our delivery! We are so blessed! Also thank you to the friends who have helped out to make this an easier transition by bringing us dinner. A big thank you to Granny Wilson for taking care of Anna and Emily and the many, many other things that you have done.
IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT AVA WILL BE A WEEK OLD TOMORROW!
HAPPY ONE WEEK BIRTHDAY TO AVA CLAIRE!!!
