The last two days have been crazy busy!! Jason's mom came to stay with us for a few days while Jason is hunting in Illinois. She got here Sunday night and we had several things planned to do, we shopped for the first two days straight so now we are pressed to get the other things done tonight and tomorrow. We cut up the pumpkins from halloween and cooked them down for fresh pumpkin pie. That is a very time consuming job!! I hope it makes a big difference in the taste since we are using fresh pumpkin. We are supposed to make two jumpers for the girls, so I can learn how to sew. So far we have the fabric, I guess that's a start. I have always wanted to know how to sew them some cute outfits, so she is giving me her sewing machine and a one-on-one class. Hopefully I will get the hang of it! I also plan to make some hair bows for the girls that go to church at Beda. Mrs. Wilson has wanted to give them some bows for a while so maybe I can find the time to get those done. It just seems there isn't enough hours in a day!!
Now to get to my subject, we went back to Libby Lu's yesterday and let the girls get their make-up done and their nails painted. They put their hair up in the cutest little up do's. I didn't even take my camera because we were on our way to Montgomery to get fabric, when Teri called and told me they were running specials on makeovers at Libby Lu's. We didn't tell Anna and Emily what we were going to do until we got there and boy were they surprised!! They both loved it and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. They also got a tierra and to pick out 5 accessories for dressing up. All of that for 10 dollars each! What a deal, Thank you Teri for telling us! So when we got home I took their picture, their hair held up pretty well considering Emily kept rubbing hers. Emily had also applied more makeup to her eyes before I got the picture. She just used the wrong kind, she put lip gloss on her eyes! I text Jason a picture and told him his princesses missed him and to hurry home! Hopefully it will work. LOL!!!

ReplyDeleteThe girls just look very beautiful with their new makeovers... and very grown up!! How sad!
You are a domestic DIVA!! The girls look so DIVA-LIKE themselves in the pic. Since I don't have girls, I need to take my neices to Libby Lu's-it would be right up their alley.
ReplyDeleteNow how much fun is that?! I'm with Julie. I guess I can just take my neices to Libby Lu's.
