On top of having to work this weekend, poor little Anna came down with a mean virus. Sunday morning at 5 a.m. I heard Anna calling me and crying from her room. I ran in there and she had vomited in her bed and had a fever of 104.2. She was so pitiful, I felt awful for her! I woke her Daddy up to care for her because I didn't need to miss work. Bless his heart, I know it was an eventful day for him! I thought we were going to have to use a tylenol suppository, since she wasn't able to hold down her medicine long enough for it to reduce her temperature. Luckily we didn't have to use them! I know Anna is glad. She hasn't vomited any more since 2:30 this morning but still has a fever without motrin or tylenol. We hope this virus is on the way out the door!! I HOPE AND PRAY it doesn't spread to the rest of the family. So far the rest of us are fine!
I hope Anna gets to feeling better soon and hopefully the rest of you are in the clear from catching that nasty virus!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard when they're sick! And you had to leave her to go to work - I know that was tough. Hope she's already better!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it horrible to have a sick baby. Aiden woke up w/ a temp of 102.8 Monday morning and 102.6 today. He has tonsilitus sp? and an ear infection. I left him w/ my sister-in-law today and I hated to.

ReplyDeleteI KNOW how she feels! We ALL have had that terrible virus and let me tell you, it was TERRIBLE!!!! I thought I was going to die before I got well! And poor John Luke is just now getting his energy and appetite back! Glad Anna is feeling better!
