Prayer Request for Anna!!

As most of you know Anna has had a string of sickness since beginning of November! Everything from sinus infection to strep and it just keeps getting worse instead of better. It seems like before she gets over one cold another one attacks her. About 2 weeks ago the doctor said she had fluid built up behind her ears and the right one was infected. He wanted to do a follow up visit and we went to that on Monday. She is still coughing and it sounds horrible. So at Monday's appointment after he(doc) said her ear was better, I asked for some blood work. I just didn't feel like she was being herself. Thank God, he followed a mother's intuition! The test showed that her white blood cell count was more than doubled. Next we did a chest x-ray which showed the problem precisely. She has pneumonia in her right lung. They didn't hospitalize her and we are very thankful for that! She had two shots of rocefin (antibiotic- probably misspelled) in her legs and was put on a z-pac of antibiotics. We are also still continuing to take singulair and albuterol on a daily basis.

The reason for this post is to ask for your prayers for Anna. She is acting a lot more like herself already, so that is a good sign. We hope and pray the pneumonia will heal with minimal scarring of the lung tissue. Some of you may have already been through this with your child and if you have bless you. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and don't forget the real meaning of Christmas! Hug your children and tell them you love them as often as you can because they are precious gifts from God!!
Merry Christmas to all,
With Love,
Jason, Ginger, Anna and Emily
