Fall Fun!!!

My little artists

Anna loves to pose her and Emily!!

This is our pumpkins before, the make-over

Yesterday, we went and picked out our pumpkins, one for us and one for each of the girls. This year we decided to paint the pumpkins instead of carving them. This way the girls can be more involved in decorating them. Anna and Emily enjoyed this tremendously!! Both of their pumpkins were going to be real cute, or at least I thought so... but they didn't want to stop and wait for the paint to dry. They kept adding and painting until all the colors ran together, and just about every color you add to black, comes out BLACK! Anna said she still had fun even if her pumpkin does look like a mud ball!! (I couldn't help but laugh at her.) She says some of the cutest things!!

  1. FUN! That's a good idea...to let them paint them. Anna Beth had to have the "princess" carving kit. Imagine that!!! LOL! So I guess we'll have a princess carved into our pumpkin this year. I know Scott will love that! Ha! He might as well get used to it with 3 females!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. What a great idea! We had actually thought of doing something similar to that and then maybe carving closer to Halloween. We always carve too early and our pumpkins are VERY slouchy by the time Halloween actually gets here!

  9. Ginger,
I hope this will help you create your signature. This is not the website I used, but the one I used isn't working right now anyway. So this is another---

    Hope that works!

  10. I forgot to tell you that it won't show up until you do a new post. So it won't be under your old posts.

    Good Luck!
