We found out on Friday that Anna's teacher was taking another job and her last day would be this Friday. She is going to be a 3rd grade teacher at the school where her son attends. Mrs. Deason is a very sweet person and has already made a lasting impression on Anna. We are sad that she is leaving and will miss her a lot. We have already met Anna's new teacher and she seems very nice, so hopefully this will be an easy transition. Today we are giving Mrs. Deason a surprise going -away party and Anna is so exicited because she made her a card and we bought her a gift. This has happened so fast that we hope this will give all the students a chance to say their goodbyes.
